Dr. Sungkuk Kim is a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has spent twenty years in clinical practice in California, with ten of those years spent on mastering and teaching tongue diagnosis.

His clinic in Torrance serves a multilingual patient population and treats a full range of conditions: chronic pain, fertility and pregnancy preparation, sleep, post-stroke recovery, hormonal imbalance, dermatology, weight loss, and the everyday work of feeling like yourself again.

Dr. Kim earned his DAOM at Dongguk University Los Angeles and has continued to study the classical tongue and pulse traditions throughout his career. Every patient receives a full intake, tongue and pulse diagnosis, and a treatment plan that he himself oversees.
